The News Journal affirmed that Delaware’s new sports law complies with the state’s constitution and the State Supreme Court has concluded in a decision took in this morning for the reason to open in September new ways for bets on football games and many other sports bets.

In an advisory opinion it was decided and signed by Governor Jack Markell a law for sports betting for the reason to create an only king of sports gambling besides the bets on horse races that are allowed only under the Constitution.

This law is believed to be a lottery. But an attorney for the National Football League affirmed the contrary, that sports betting involve too much skills to be known as a lottery.

Nevertheless, the Court had decided that in Constitution it could allow the lotteries to involve an element of skill as long as the chance exist and people could profite on it.
