The Minnesota Department of Public Safety have attempted to ban their residents from accessing Internet gambling websites.
The state of Kentucky went directly after the online gambling sites. They petitioned the court to seize 141 online gambling domain names. They won in the lower courts, but lost in the Court of Appeals.
Representative Pat Garofalo on Monday responded to the call for blockage by submitting legislation of his own.
Observer Jacolyn Henry said: “We cannot keep letting the government tell us what we can and cannot do in the privacy of our own home.”.
