Online Lottery Operator Hoping To Increase Their Revenues
The online lottery operator Tipp24 AG has its winnings results since the 2001 year according to the State Treaty On Gaming in Germany. This firm affirmed that it has lost around 6.8 million euros from the German segment for the 1st 6 months of 2009 while last year the profit was around 5.4 million euros, so the revenues has fall with 92.3 % to 1.4 million euros.
This firm has also revealed that its winnings were burdened by subsequent and restructuring measures that were necessary to be taken.
The Chairman for Tipp24’s Executive Board, Jens Schumann, affirmed that “After being forced to part company with the majority of our German staff in the first quarter, we also gave up the majority voting rights in our former English subsidiaries in April as a further consequence of the State Treaty On Gaming.” He also added that he is still convinced that key aspects of the State Treaty must have been changed.
In time, the Federal States of Germany has lost more than 7 billion euros in stakes. Also Tipp24 has officially announced that its non-German business has grown because of the pooling of activities in the United Kingdom.
This concentrated expansion on operations helped its winnings from abroad increase to around 30 million euros from a loss of almost one million dollars.
