Net Gambling Advocates May Have To Wait?

Posted by admin in News on April 13th, 2009 |  No Comments »

Online gambling proponents may have to wait a little longer for the passage of federal legislation that would legalize betting on the Internet.

Macquarie Securities gaming analyst Joel Simkins told investors not to bet the house on Internet gambling becoming legal anytime soon.

His prognosis comes despite a White House that is seemingly friendlier toward Internet gamblers and the support of Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., who plans to reintroduce a bill after the Easter holiday that would legalize and regulate Internet gaming.

Lobbyist contacts and casino company operators dialed into Capitol Hill, Simkins put steep odds on the issue seeing any light.

Simkins said: “We see little reason for investors to try to play this near-term,”.

Online gambling has long interested the casino industry, mainly due to the reported revenues the activity has produced. Estimates by Internet gaming advocacy groups peg the amount of money annually wagered online at anywhere from $20 billion to $25 billion.

The European Union has voted to give individual member nations the right to decide on their own whether to regulate or not. And while it may not be such a bad thing to help get legislators on the same page.

The European Commission has long been pressuring leading EU nations to make legislative changes to foster a free online gaming marketplace – just as the case is with all goods and services amongst EU countries.

One of the first organizations to express their disapproval was the Malta Remote Gaming Council, which is one of the premiere licensors and regulators of online casinos and all manner of betting sites operating in Europe.

In Malta is over 4,000 residents currently work in the online gambling industry, two of the five MEP’s did not even show up to the session in which the vote was held.

Martingale:

Martingale strategy means every time that you loose a hand double your bet, until you win. If you win you continue to flat bet, at the unit you have chosen. So if you lose one hand you increase your double bet to, if you lose again and increase your bet(double)  so on until you win a hand in the series. BACCARAT

This method is a guaranteed way to lose all your money in the long run. It will work for short periods.

D’Alembert:

Ever time you win you decrease your bet by one unit, ever time you loose you increase by one unit. Starting with a USD10 unit, if you loose go to USD20, loose again then go to USD40, win then go back down to USD20. Offers more security then the Martingale system.

Craps – Betting Options

Now that you have an understanding of how the game of Craps works, let’s examine the different kinds of bets that you can make. Two of the best bets on the Craps table are in the areas marked Pass and Don’t Pass. craps

The other option is to bet on the Don’t Pass line, which is the opposite of a Pass bet, and in placing this bet you are betting that the shooter will lose. Making this bet is pretty much the same as making a pass”bet, only you place your bet in front of you in the Don’t Pass area.

Some casinos may however make the number 2 instead of 12 that’s a push. If you’re not sure which it is, look on the Don’t Pass line and you’ll you see the word Bar and then the number that the casino considers a push.

This rule gives the casino an advantage on don’t pass bets and it doesn’t matter whether the casino bars the 2 or 12.

Roulette is probably the most well known and played casino game just about everywhere. Whether played online or at your local casino, the game attracts all kinds of players from all walks of life. It’s an easy game to understand and play.onrou

One of the biggest differences between online roulette and roulette played at land based casinos is the ease of the online game. When you play roulette online you will not have to fight your way up to the table to place your bets.

One of the great things about roulette is that you decide your own winning chances. Play red, black, odd or even and you basically have coin-flip odds of winning. If you feel more like gambling, you can narrow your bets down to just one or a few lucky numbers.

Roulette is basically available in two different varieties, American and European. The only difference is that the American roulette wheels have two 00, whereas its European counterpart has one 0.Since both versions are generally available online, there is no reason whatsoever to play American roulette based on the odds.

The game of Roulette has been around for a long time, in reality, roulette is the genuine game of chance and luck.

How To Bet At Roulette

Posted by admin in Roulette on January 5th, 2009 |  No Comments »

Roulette is a game of pure chance, and barring exceptional circumstances, no strategy can overcome the built-in house percentage. Play your birthday, your brother birthday, your anniversary, last week’s winning lottery numbers, etc.Either you get lucky or you don’t.ro

Many casinos now have an electronic display at roulette wheels showing the last 12 or 18 numbers. Some players like to play any number that shows up twice or more in that span — or to bet the last several numbers that have come up.

Betting  Strategy:

Roulette moves more slowly than other casino games, players seem more inclined to use betting systems, especially on even-money bets. No betting system can change the game’s percentages, and some systems can be financial disasters for the player.

One of the strategy is: Martingale: The player doubles his bet after each loss. When a win eventually comes, it leaves the player with a profit equal to his original bet. That is, if the player bets $5 on black and loses, he then bets $10; if that loses, he bets $20, and so on. A win at the $20 level overcomes the $5 and $10 losses and leaves the player with a $5 profit. The player then goes back to the original bet level and continues.

This sounds good in theory. Staying with the $5 starting point, the fourth bet is $40, then $80, $160, $320. If the table maximum is $500, you’re past it on the next bet, after seven losses, you cannot bet the $640 necessary to wipe out the $635 in previous losses and start a new sequence.

Grand martingale: This is an even worse, even faster way to lose money. Instead of merely doubling the bet, after a loss the player doubles the bet and adds another unit. So if the starting unit is $5, the next bet is $15 ,$5 doubled, plus another $5 unit, followed by $35, then $75, $155, and so on. The Grand Martingale player runs up against a $500 limit after only six losses.

There are many more strategies but the player bet how he thinks  is better.

How To Play Three Card Poker

Posted by admin in Poker on January 4th, 2009 |  No Comments »

Three Card Poker is becoming on of the most popular new table games. poker

The game is played with a single deck of 52 cards. Three Card Poker is actually two games in one.

The Play
There are three betting circles in front of each seat. The top betting circle is labeled Pair Plus where the player puts a wager on the pair plus game. Beneath that are two circles labeled Ante and Play for the base game. The game starts with the player making a wager in the Pair Plus and or Ante circle equal to the table minimum.

After all the players have made their bets the dealer will give each player a three card.

Ante/Play
If a player has made a bet on the Ante they must make their decision to fold or play after looking at their hand.

After all the players have made their decisions, the dealer will turn over his three card hand. The dealer needs to qualify with a hand of Queen or higher for play to continue. If the dealer’s hand does not contain a Queen or higher all players still active in the hand will be paid even money for their Ante wager and their bet on the Play will be returned to them.

The Hand Rankings

Straight Flush. Three cards of the same suit in sequence. Example 6-7-8 of spades.
Three of a Kind. Three cards of equal rank.
Straight. Three cards in sequence of mixed suits.
Flush. Three cards of the same suit.
Pair. Two cards of equal rank.
High Card. The highest card in your hand.

Strategy
You should fold if you have a hand lower than Queen – 6 -4 and you should continue and make the Play bet if you hand is higher.

To determine if your hand is better than Q-6-4 start with your first highest card and compare it to the Queen, if it is higher you play. You ignore the other two cards. If your first card is a Queen and your second card is higher than 6 you would still play regardless of the ranking of your third card. If it is lower than 6 you don’t play.
