It is when a participant has established his greetings card and then, quickness down at his chip smokestack. If a entertainer does that, he is liable to have a good hand and is on offer to bet in the nearest time. He is cunning how much it is necessary to bet in order to gain the most profit from his hand.

In most indictment after storage area a chip, a always raises the pot. Observing this, you may deduction what holdings he has. The only thing you do is to get to know what his liking in imminent are and slender down his card oath. It is also valuable to look at your opponent’s play on the flop. If you questionable him to have hit a draw, look at him carefully when the supplier go round the card for the turn or river. As the card is turned he might immediately squint down at his money, as if to bet. If he does so, you can safely fold your hand.

Betting Patterns

Watch how your antagonist bet, how fast they do that, and how much they bet. Many performers promotion starting hands in not the same ways. When they show down a hand they had higher pre-flop, always try to bring to mind how much they on it.

Look Away

Multiple winning poker strategies

Posted by admin in Poker on July 13th, 2011 |  No Comments »

One of online poker’s biggest advantages over cardroom poker is the ability to play multiple tables at once. Try running between tables in a casino without winding yourself and annoying the other players.

Almost all online poker sites allow you to play at more than one table and/or tournament simultaneously, or you can open up multiple programs if you have money at more than one site. This serves to both gratify the impatient player’s need for constant action as well as the consistent winning player’s desire to increase his hourly win rate. However, before you dive into “multi-tabling” you should follow some simple guidelines to ensure that you play well despite dividing up your attention.

Firstly, and most importantly, is that you should probably employ a consistent and otherwise boring game strategy. If you like to open 3 or 4 windows at a time like I do, you won’t have much time for complicated moves and brilliant tactical plans. For starters, you won’t really be able to study the opponents at your table so you can’t make many adjustments based on their playing styles.

While playing multiple tables, you’ll mostly have to play your position and your cards. To stay focused, play in a consistent pattern and play usually play certain hands the same way. Fold your weaker and more speculative hands to save yourself difficult decisions on the flop. Players are much loose and less observant online (they’re probably playing multiple tables like you!) so you don’t have to worry about giving much of your strategy away.

My next piece of advice, and it should go without saying, is that you should pay attention to the table with the biggest monetary incentive. While that may seem obvious, sometimes I’ll open up a $1 Sit ‘n Go on the side to keep myself occupied in between hands at $2/4 No-Limit Hold’em table. The most that I can win at the SnG is a few bucks, yet I’ll sometimes find myself paying more attention to it when it gets down to the especially competitive stages. What I should be doing is paying attention to my main table, which can pocket me a few hundred dollars in a good session. If you play multiple tables, keep your attention where the money is or get out of the cheap game. If you are playing at tables of equal stakes, be sure to also divide your attention equally.

Finally, don’t overlook the technical aspects of multi-tabling. While some sites are beginning to offer options to tile tables, most still do not and that won’t help you if you’re playing on multiple sites. You want to arrange the tables on the screen so that the action buttons from different tables don’t overlap. It can be extremely frustrating (and costly) to try to click “Fold” and one table and have another table pop up at the last second, making you hit “Raise” on your 7-2 offsuit there instead. Turn up the resolution on your monitor to give more screen space to tables. If you’re serious about online poker, you might invest in a larger monitor and/or video card that can fit more onto one screen. You should also take advantage of the act-ahead “Fold” button to both speed up the game and save your attention for more pressing hands. Playing multiple tables can certainly be profitable for the winning online poker player – just be sure to do it right in order to avoid unnecessary mistakes.

Texas holdem strategy to win some pots

Posted by admin in poker online on January 2nd, 2011 |  No Comments »

There was a need from the beginning of the poker game for some way to tell exactly which hands are weak and which are strong, which are weaker when comparing and which hands should be kept or thrown. This is why, sometime ago, there has been created a chart that explains and clarifies the hand rankings in holdĂem. Each and every possible hand has been evaluated and included in this chart, and the odds for each hand, in all types of drawing situations, have been compared to the odds of similar hand and then accordingly classified. The hand grouping is made in eight distinct groups, starting from group 1, the group considered to have the highest odds and ending with group eight which is with little exceptions the group of very low hands, with very low odds, that are usually not to be played.

Also, in each group the hands are placed in order, from the ones that have been proved to be the strongest to the ones that are the weakest within that group.

The most known and appreciated chart of hands has been developed by two poker analysts and writers that have written book and analysis on poker strategies and theory. Their names are David Sklansky and Mason Malmuth and their hand grouping has been first published in the book named “Hold’em Poker for Advanced Players”. The Sklansky Hold’em Hand Groupings are presented below:

Group 1: A-A, K-K, Q-Q, J-J, A-Ks
Group2: T-T, A-Qs, A-Js, K-Qs, A-K
Group3: 9-9, J-Ts, Q-Js, K-Js, A-Ts, A-Q
Group4: T-9s, K-Q, 8-8, Q-Ts, 9-8s, J-9s, A-J, K-Ts
Group5: 7-7, 8-7s, Q-9s, T-8s, K-J, Q-J, J-T, 7-6s, 9-7s, A-xs, 6-5s
Group6: 6-6, A-T, 5-5, 8-6s, K-T, Q-T, 5-4s, K-9s, J-8s, 7-5s
Group7: 4-4, J-9, 6-4s, T-9, 5-3s, 3-3, 98-, 4-3s, 2-2, K-xs, T-7s, Q-8s
Group8: 8-7, A-9, Q-9, 7-6, 4-2s, 3-2s, 9-6s, 8-5s, J-8, J-7s, 6-5, 5-4, 7-4s, K-9, T-8, 4-3

After this table has been successfully used by many experts, someone has researched for a diploma paper in the universityĂs senior year a different hand grouping. This is based on the one above and it demonstrates it, but it also shows that it is not complete and additional hands have been added and improved.

Gambling Tips

The online gambling market is one of the fastest growing sectors of ecommerce today. As world recession hits, it seems that more and more people are looking towards trying their luck on the horses.
But it certainly isn’t just horses anymore which people bet on. No, now it’s Football, Rugby, Tennis, the Weather, who will be the next president or prime minister!. Even the world of celebrity television is creating large betting markets as the public in the US and the UK closely follow programmes such as The X Factor and Big Brother.
When it comes to choosing on line bookmakers, it is always best to plump for one of the big names. The bigger the name then the more likely your money is to be safe, and your winnings paid out correctly. On line security for betting is an issue however and some people understandably feel reluctant to use credit/debit card details when depositing at on line Bookmakers. Some bookmakers actually demand photocopies of your credit card, front and back before they will make their first payment to you. Understandably this raises warning signs in many people. We have all heard the stories of Credit card fraud and identity theft, so emailing scans of your card does feel risky however trustworthy the site seems.
One solution to the problem is to use an online payment system such as PayPal or Moneybookers. Once signed up to one of these companies deposits and withdrawals can be made safely from online betting sites. The bonus of using one of these trusted e payment systems is that no one will be asking you for scans of your Credit and Debit cards. Also if you are signing up to several gaming sites you can avoid having them listed on your bank statement.

Caribbean Stud Poker Tip Sheet

Caribbean Stud Poker Tip One – Staying In

This one is pretty easy. If you are dealt two pairs or better, add to your wager and stay in the hand. The premise is simple. The dealer will only have a hand better than two pair once per 47 hands in theory. The probability of you winning is on your side. Also you have to be sure that you picked a reputable online casino.

I’d also expand this and say that with one pair you should strongly consider staying in the hand. The probability of getting two pair is 1:21 and if you win you’re being paid 1:1, so the value is in your favor. The dealer will fail to qualify very often and that’s what you want when you have one pair.

Caribbean Stud Poker Tip Two – Play that progressive

Some call it a sucker’s bet, but let’s be honest. Why are you playing this game? To have fun and win money!

If you get a straight, flush, full house, straight flush or royal flush and the dealer doesn’t quality-again, it happens a lot-you get paid nothing. I don’t know about you, but if I’m dealt a four of a kind and the dealer doesn’t qualify, I’ll look pretty stupid for not betting that $1.

And if you’re a money management and fiscal conservative, go play Craps or nothing at all.

Caribbean Stud Poker Tip Three – Nothing equals fold

Again, a super simple tip to live by. If you have nothing in your hand, fold. Why? Well, think about it. The only way you win is if the dealer doesn’t qualify and that might happen say 30% of the time. If that were the case, you’d have a 70% chance to lose and you’ll only be paid even money on your Ante wager. Your Bet wager gets nothing, but it can lose if you stay in.

Think about it again if you think I’m wrong. You’re wagering two times the amount to win half. For instance, you’re wagering $10 with nothing to win a maximum of $5 and you have a high probability of losing on top of all that. It’s a really stupid move.

Prizes are usually given out in credits called FunBucks, which are simply bonus credits that allow them to earn points or buy online bingo cards. Some games have special cash prizes to be won in addition to bonus credits.

There are a multitude of free online bingo games on the market. While there are reputable and secure options, some of these games may be less reliable however. In looking for a reputable free online bingo game, player testimonials are a good way to gauge the quality and usability of the site. Check out a few sites before registering for an account at any of them, the first couple of times you visit sites should be spent looking for testimonials from players, the games rules and policies, any potential hidden costs, added benefits for players, special offers, opportunities to earn real money and also the sites privacy policy. These factors should indicate the overall quality of the site.

One of the best free online games is BingoTourney, the ‘Internet’s Biggest Free Bingo experience.’

BingoTourney is a free online bingo game offering players a secure, friendly environment to play and learn the art of the game. Online Poker Room Reviews

Posted by admin in poker online on April 7th, 2010 |  No Comments »

The answer is no, most of the reviews aren’t genuine. Where there’s money there’s corruption, and there’s a lot of money in the online poker industry. Even the largest poker sites ranking high in search engines will adjust their reviews based on how much a particular poker room is paying them

Online poker sites pay their affiliates a fixed amount of money to sign up players through their site. The problem is that instead of writing reviews on the poker sites, they make up the reviews based on how much money they’re getting paid. I’ve seen poker rooms that are notorious for having the worst quality software and no traffic ranking #1 on many popular poker room reviews sites, just because those rooms offer more money for sign ups.

The poker rooms don’t want you giving them negative ratings. If you read an affiliate terms and conditions policy it will explain that you’re obligated to promote them, “As widely and aggressively as possible so as to maximize the financial benefit to affiliate and to company.” So this means that poker rooms won’t even let you give them any negative reviews or else they’ll ban you from their program.

What ends up happening is many poker room review sites recommend EVERY poker room. All of the poker rooms they rate get a 5/5 or very close to it. Bad aspects of the room are ignored because the ‘job’ as an affiliate isn’t to give honest advice; it’s to sell the room to the readers.

But don’t worry; online poker isn’t filled with only cheats and liars. My site, for one, has detailed and honest poker room reviews. If you can sift through those review sites giving obvious false reviews you’ll find a bunch giving valuable information. Just be aware that many exist only to make money from you.

New Online Casino Games

The pocket cards are dealt to the player and dealer, then the player makes a decision – to play or not to play, and places a bet. After that three cards of flop are dealt and again the player may place a bet; there is also a possibility to place the bet after the turn. However, there are some differences: before deal the player places the ante bet. If the player wishes to continue preflop game, he is to place the bet equal to two antes (the flop bet), otherwise he is to be dropped and to lose his ante. Nevertheless, the bets after flop or turn are equal to one ante (turn and river bets); at this stage the player may say “check” and continue the game without additional investments. When the river is dealt the combinations of dealer and player are compared according to the hold’em rules: the played away player loses all his bets; in case of draw game all bets are returned; if the player had won then he gets one-to-one payment as for the flop/turn/river bets; ante is returned in case if the combination is lower than street and it is one-to-one repaid in case of street combination. As you see, this game’s strategy is very difficult and unlike club hold’em you have to play with almost 100% hands and to drop only off-suit 23-27! During optimum game the advantage of casino makes nearly 2%. The word “bonus” in the name of game means, that there are additional bonus bets. The player can place the bet on his pocket cards. When the pocket pair or ace and jack, lady or king comes out, the player receives from three-to-one up to thirty-to-one payments. Side bet advantage of casino makes about 8%.

If you like to play blackjack and to bargain when playing club poker you need to have a look at Hold’em Blackjack (only InterPoker has it). The authors of game had swiped the rules of collection and calculation of hand points from blackjack – the player is to have the combination to the utmost close to 21 without overshoot. As the game is played not against the dealer there is no any surrenders, divisions, duplications, and even blackjack is disabled. This game is simple pontoon and has no advantages against 21 points collected from three cards. But the most senior combination becomes “Seven Charlie’s cards” – seven cards without overshoot. The rules of action are swiped from hold’em. In the first round all players receive one card each, obligatory small and big blinds are placed (in tournaments ante also can be used) and then there is an action round which is completely similar to limit hold’em in increments of big blind and three raises maximum. In the second round each of the remaining players receives the card and the second round of double bet action takes place. After the second round of action the players may continue to collect the cards (in a clockwise direction starting from the player to the left hand of dealer’s button). The player may widow the cards until he wishes to stop or until he overshoots pontoon. When the players finish to widow, the last round of action starts and the bets on this stage may vary from 2 up to 10 big blinds. When the action round is finished there is a showdown; the player with the best combination (“Seven Charlie’s Cards”, 21, 20, etc.) takes the bank and if several players have identical combinations they divide the bank. If the remaining players had overshot the player having minimum points (22, 23, etc.) wins. Casino takes the rake as it is the club poker. It is understood that there is no standard strategy against opponents, but it is possible to assume, that the player having quite good knowledge of blackjack and hold’em will have the advantage.

It should be noted, that popularity of various tournaments grows. It is more interesting for players to compete with human opponents instead of computer dealer. There are slots, blackjack, roulette, oasis-poker, and baccarat tournaments. A lot of casinos offer such tournaments and there is even a blackjack tournaments site.

And finally let’s have a look at innovations in the field of slots. As I said before, there is basically quantitative increase – new pictures and more lines (20-25 lines do not surprise anymore; there are even 30 and 40 lines). But there are also some innovations. The latest thing for the Internet which is known for a long time in offline games – slots with stoppage of lines and option “to push” the drum. Cryptologic casinos had gained the right to use so-called British fruit-machines which are classical slots of fruit themes, but as a bonus the players may have, from time to time, the option of either to fix 1-2 drums and to twist the remaining drums, or to shift any of drums on one symbol downwards.

Cryptologic also has another innovation – Cubis slot. The player sees three walls of a cube – bottom and two back. On each of the walls appear 25 multi-colored cubes. There are 15 lines which pass through two walls and if on one of lines there are four cubes of one color successively the player takes the prize depending on color and number of cubes. Then the winning sequence of cubes disappears and its place becomes occupied by other cubes and new winning sequence can be formed. In game there are also the cubes-multipliers increasing the prize up to six times as well as bonus cubes allowing to change the line or the whole plane.

Casino Games History

Being a young scientist, Edward O. Thorp regularly read mathematic journals.  When he was a student, he was pressed for money. The idea of outplaying the casino on the basis of calculations appealed to Thorp and he decided to check the results of the “excellent four” and see what will come out of it. The result of his activity was a phenomenal book Beat The Dealer, now its sales are approaching million of samples.

Thorp chose the other way – he did not make analytical calculations, but with powerful at that time computer IBM (they were also called mainframe) he wrote several programs on Fortran, creating quite original methods for 60s. By the way, Thorp together with his research instructor Claude Elwood Shannon, a great scientist, were also involved in solving the problem “how to outplay the roulette?”

From his calculations Thorp understood that dead cards had a considerable affect on the gambler’s chances this or that way. His main idea was about memorizing the dead cards in somewhat simplified way and when the situation is beneficial for the player, make high stakes.  By the way, this system still remains the basis of any methods and counting systems of blackjack.

The counting system introduced by Thorp, was rather complicated for usage in real casinos, required great concentration and large amount of mentally arithmetic actions. However with good training there was nothing impossible in its application.

Thorp’s book immediately became a success and bestseller. Everyone understood that with quite simple actions you can get an advantage. Every reader dreamt of enormous prizes. However, the casinos also knew the score.

Panic seized them. And in 1962 after Thorp’s book, all Las Vegas Casinos without exception changed their rules being afraid of mass influx of “system players”. The quality of the rules worsened terribly and no counting system could ever help you to win. Though the effect for casino turned out to be quite unpredictable and reverse – people stopped playing blackjack. And during several months, all the casinos had to return to the former rules for their own survival.

Another interesting effect caused by Thorp’s book- incredible popularity of blackjack outrunning the favorite American craps. A lot of people, after reading the book considered themselves potential winners and rushed to the blackjack tables. However, most of them had a bad understanding of the mathematical principles of the game did not become winners but quite vice versa. Therefore, casino got more clients and moreover losing clients. Since then their number is only increasing.

The system presented in the first edition of Thorp’s book was quite difficult even for professionals and only the few could apply it under the conditions of a real game. Something should be simplified.

The power behind the throne.
Julian Braun is quite a unique personality.  He had hardly ever played a deal in real blackjack. But he played millions and maybe even billions of deals on the computer. Braun was a good mathematician and programmer and he got interested in Thorp’s idea and offered him cooperation in the sphere of calculations and programming.

He was behind the development of all modern systems the authorship of which belongs to Revere, Humble, Wong and Uston. He wrote the only book How to Play Winning Blackjack, but what a book!

Braun upgraded Thorp’s system on FORTRAN and made considerable changes and the second edition of Thorp’s book also contained Hi-Lo system in its modern form. It was quite a revolution in gambling world. Braun worked in IBM corporation and had access to probably most powerful computers of that time. This fact helped to build simple and efficient tool in struggle with casino.

Hold’em Cards Right

It’s probably a good idea when learning the rudiments of the game, to have a firm grasp of the Poker hand rankings and the unique language that you’ll hear at the poker table. Burn this information to memory; you’ll be glad you did. After all, even though you might be new to this game, there is no need for the other players at the table to know.

Having a strategy going into this game is very important if you want to be taken seriously and convince other players you are the bees knees. So here are some of the basic points you need to keep in mind to keep you one step ahead of your fellow players. The best place to start is at some of the online poker rooms so that you can perfect those skills and variables before playing in the real world

Quick Reminders:

1. When you have a rubbish hand, fold fast.

2. Do not pretend that you are a big spender poker player unless you have the bankroll to back it up. A rule of thumb is that you should have at least 50 times the table limit to play with.

3. If you are lucky enough to hold an unbeatable hand, remember Nicholas Cage in Honeymoon in Vegas and make sure you make the players pay dearly to see it.

4. The first 5/7 cards you receive will be the foundation of your hand. Build your strategy around these. You’re not likely to better your opening hand and the odds of improving your hand on the draw are about even.

5. You will soon discover who the strong players are at the table, but it is important that you focus on your own game rather than focusing on trying to beat them. You may risk losing big time if you’re not lucky. If you’re lucky enough to win, it’ll hardly be worth the effort.

7. Commit this to memory: If you can’t beat the other hands, don’t join them, fold and live to play another day. The table will always be ready when you are. Above all else, try to have fun.

8. Unpredictability can be good. Most pros are able figure out a really loose player by waiting for the nuts and being patient. However, an even easier opponent is a tight player or “rock”, who plays only the Group 1 type hands. You need to change your game up, and let them see that you can run bluffs, and play some lower value starting hands as well. These changes should be subtle and shouldn’t dramatically affect the flop rate
