Uk Bingo
In the 2009 Budget statement the Government increased the level of Tax on the bingo industry from 15% to 22% in UK Bingo. 
These increases will bring in an estimated £55 million to the government off setting the £50 million it was going to lose by scrapping bingo VAT.
To put this into perspective this increase in bingo tax will cost the Bingo industry around £33m every year. This will have a hugely detrimental impact on the nation’s bingo clubs across the UK and not only, cause many bankruptcies because of the cost of keeping them open to operators.
Also the bingo industry has also warned that without a change to this absurd taxation law.
